MCS Legal was founded by Marie Sacco, a commercial lawyer with over fifteen years of international experience in the corporate and government sectors. Marie was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 2001.
Marie has worked in private practice as well as in-house legal counsel for companies ranging from medium size to well-known brands, including Chevron, British Airways, Vodafone, CBRE, Sydney Water and British Gas.
Marie spent several years working in-house in London, advising high profile corporates. Marie has also been in the role of general counsel in Sydney, and established a company’s legal function from the ground up.
Marie recognises the importance of building productive working relationships with clients and stakeholders alike. With a proven ability to identify and manage areas of legal risk, Marie adds value to business; working closely with clients including senior executives and directors.
Over the years, Marie has donated her time doing pro-bono work as a volunteer solicitor at two Sydney legal centres. Marie is trilingual, also speaking Maltese and Spanish.
